Troubleshooting with the FC2

Home» Why Female Condoms » Using Female Condoms » Troubleshooting with the FC2

After the FC is Inserted

  • Use your finger to smooth the FC2 against the walls of the vagina or anus. Make sure it isn’t twisted.
  • The outer ring must stay outside of the vagina or anus so it covers the external female genitalia or anus.
  • Hold the outer ring of the FC2 in place and guide the penis inside of the condom. The FC2 only has to be held in place when the penis enters so it doesn’t get pushed to the side, twisted, or bunched. If any of these things do happen, remove the FC2 and start over with a new one.
  • The FC2 contains a silicone-based lubricant. Adding more lubricant can increase pleasure for both partners and also help prevent any twisting or bunching.
